“…so that I may come to you with joy, by God’s will, and in your company be refreshed.” - Romans 15:32
I am husband to Miranda and we have three young children. We moved to Holmer Green in 2012, initially worshipping elsewhere. Miranda started bringing our youngest son to the HGBC toddlers’ group, run for the local community, and we all attended Messy Church. We found a welcoming and loving fellowship here and started attending Sunday services in 2016. We found the approach refreshing and engaging for our children and ourselves. We also appreciated being part of one of our local village churches. Miranda and I became Church Members in April 2018. Three months later I started assisting with the administration of the accounts and was appointed as Church Treasurer in March 2019.
I value service to the community and as such have held various volunteer positions starting in my twenties in the Institution of Mechanical Engineers’ Greater London Region Young Members’ Panel (including as Chair) and Region committee (as Treasurer), later as an officer with the Royal Air Force Air Cadets and most recently as school governor of Holmer Green First School & Pre-school since our oldest joined in 2012.
As a project engineering manager I work for a global engineering, procurement, construction and installation contractor, based in London. I am a qualified scuba diver (rarely exercised these days!), more commonly seen running or cycling in my spare time.
