  • Easter Party!

Preschool and KS1 children are invited (with their parents) to our Easter Party at Holmer Green Baptist Church, on Thursday 28th March from 3.30-5pm! There will be lots of fun, crafts and a simple telling of the Easter story. You don't need to worry about rushing home for dinner - there will be plenty of hot dogs for the kids to sit and enjoy. There is no charge, however, please RSVP to rachael.smith@holmergreenbaptist.org.uk by Monday 25th March for catering purposes. We look forward to seeing you there!

  • Maundy Thursday Meditation & Communion

EVERYONE WELCOME but it would help us with our planning and preparation if you could sign up on the noticeboard in the hall

  • Who Let The Dads Out? for Mother's Day! Saturday 9th March

Who Let The Dads Out? is back at Holmer Green Baptist Church on Saturday 9th March from 9.30am - 11am. ‘Who Let The Dads Out?’ is a place for dads/male carers and their children to spend time together, have fun and mix with other dads and kids over some hot food and a cuppa. There is plenty to keep the kids entertained, with toys, crafts and games tables, and with Mother's day this weekend, it's the perfect opportunity to give the mums a chance to put their feet up at home, whilst also crafting some beautiful gifts - double win! There is a small entry fee of £2 per family. We'd love to see you there!

  • New Year, New Website! A Welcome Message from Pastor Anthony

Please allow me to take this opportunity to personally welcome you to our new website. The team has prepared some great information for you, and I want to personally invite you to look around and get to know us.  You can watch our worship services, live online, view archived video services, and read about what’s happening now and, in the future, here at Holmer Green Baptist Church. On behalf of our entire church family, we want you to know that we are committed to meeting the needs of people wherever they are in life. I am glad you have chosen to spend a few moments looking around, and discovering our church family. I describe it as “community”, “journeying” and “family.” As a “community,” we are a group of ordinary but diverse people committed to following Jesus. That means we worship him with joy and enthusiasm, and encourage prayer in church and throughout life. As a church, we want to show our love to people outside the church through generosity and compassion. As we “journey” through life we all find ourselves at different places in our journeys of faith.  Perhaps you are currently wrestling with some challenges in your life.  Some may seem large and others may seem small but all important to you. That means they are important to us for you. Wherever you may be on that journey we are committed to accompanying you on that journey of faith. As a “family,” we hope that all people, whatever their background, will feel loved and welcomed at the church. And once here, we pray that people will meet God, and as a result of meeting God, give their lives to Jesus Christ. We want that for you. Come as you are. Check us out, watch some of our services online if that helps you make that first step to coming, but more importantly, we hope you will find Jesus in a personal relationship. We have! While you are browsing our website, you will learn a bit about our activities and get a glimpse of who we are. To fully understand us, come and meet us face to face and feel the up-close, in-person fellowship that comes when people share time together. No matter who you are or where you are on your journey of faith, you are welcome here. We’d love to meet you and get to know you.
