Pastoral Care

“By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:35

Pastoral care and discipleship are very closely linked. It is as we show love and encourage each other that we will grow in our faith. If you need some help or encouragement, or have a pastoral need then we want to be there for you. The Biblical model for pastoral care is very simple. It is simply to care for each other in the way that Christ cared for others.

As a church we firmly believe that we all have a role in pastoral care. We are a growing church so it is difficult to know everyone, therefore we would always encourage you to join one of our smaller groups whether that be a "Life Group" or one of the other activities we run. The Life Groups provide an opportunity to share, support and pray for each other through life's ups and downs. They provide a way to meet people in a more informal setting and build new relationships. If you would like to join one of these groups then please do let us know.

The Life Group leaders liaise with the Pastor to ensure we are doing all we can to support you. If however you are not in one of those groups then please do feel free to contact our Pastor Anthony directly. Our main concern is that you feel cared for.

As a church we have faith that God answers prayers. If you feel unable to share directly with someone, we have prayer request boxes (situated in the wash rooms) where you can post a prayer request either with your name or anonymously. These are only shared with a limited number of trusted people who commit to pray for what has been requested.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

If you are not part of our fellowship then you can send a prayer request using the contact form below.
