Good Friday Online Walk of Witness - 10.00am - 2 April
Sadly we are facing a second Good Friday under Covid restrictions, where we are not allowed to meet and congregate even in the open air to participate in a short 'Walk of Witness' around a small but central area of our village. Similarly we are still unable to meet to share in a Good Friday morning service in Church.
However we do now have a media package on Zoom that we intend to make use of to allow us to gather and participate in a short Good Friday service.
There will be an order of service of Bible readings and prayers - as if we were going on an actual walk. Following the 'walk' Pastor Anthony will then lead us with a short mediation for Good Friday. The whole service will probably take around 45 mins.
The Zoom meeting will start at 10.00am – please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for a link to the Zoom meeting.
Anyone planning to come and who would be willing to participate in the programme by reading one of the 8 Bible passages or one of the 8 prepared prayers from the programme please let also us know in advance by emailing email@example.com
Easter Day Celebration - 9.45am - Sunday 4 April
We are really excited about being able to reopen the church from Easter Sunday. What a day for our first service! - a full Family Service. Thanks to everyone who has booked to come. We need to have a booking system so that chairs can be laid out in such a way as to maximise the capacity of the church whilst maintaining social distancing. It's a shame we cannot sing yet, but hopefully that won’t be too long now.
We still have some spaces left so if you haven’t reserved a place yet, then please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01494 712479.
Rest assured for those that cannot join us that we will still be online as well so you can still join with us.
