A PRAYER FOR CHRISTMAS 2020

As we enter this Christmastime let us pray that we can all experience the love of God.  We pray also that we can be reminded afresh about the true meaning of Christmas when Jesus was born in that lowly stable.

‘For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given’  (Isaiah 9:6)

Thank you Father that through all the storms of life we are experiencing at present that you are still the same amazing God and we can bring everything to you in prayer.

‘Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever’ (Hebrews 13:8)

Thank you that the vaccine to protect us against Covid is now available and we pray for the safe distribution of this throughout our country. Thank you for all the dedicated work the NHS are providing for us and also for all those who are helping keep this pandemic at bay.  We remember all the Leaders of our country and praise everyone else who are helping in any way to keep us safe.

We know many people are sad and lonely and who are also struggling with the many issues that this pandemic has caused.  We lift everyone to you today and ask you to comfort us all.

Please rebuild our nation today in every way possible.

Fill us with kindness, understanding, peace and love during this Christmastime and also for the New Year.

‘Glory to God in the Highest and on Earth Peace Goodwill toward Men’ (Luke 2:14)
