What you might need to know

If you are new to this church you may be interested to know :-

There is a loop system for those who are hard of hearing, Crèche is provided for babies/toddlers in the hall, and a Sunday Club group is available for pre-schoolers to age 11 in the hall from approx 11am. Please stay after the service to have a coffee/tea and biscuits, these are available in the hall.

If you would like someone to pray with you after the service, please either ask someone you know and trust or move to a seat on the front row where Mike or a nominated person will be available.  Do not feel too embarrassed to do this.  We believe in prayer.

Funeral – Doreen Clinch’s funeral is tomorrow – Monday 14th. There is a  service here at church at 12pm, and then in the Milton Chapel at 1pm. Everyone is welcome to these services.

Next church meeting is on Monday 21st November at 7:45pm at the church.

POLICE NOTICE – from 14th November you can dial 101 to contact the police on non-emergency matters. These calls cost 15p and replaces the old 0845 number.

Lighthouse Quiz is now available at £1 per copy. This year’s topic is – Parts of the Body – E.g. Rowntrees did fruit ones - (4) gums. Last year we sold 120 so hopefully we can do the same this year. Why not put one in a Christmas card to a friend - they will have a chance of winning £20.00 and it will certainly help Lighthouse funds.. Thanks you for all your support for Lighthouse - Val Allcorn

The annual City Prayer Breakfast is to be held in London on the 16th November. This year, there will also be a West End Breakfast held at the same time, and for the first time. The latter will be held at Regent’s House, Oxford Street. An opportunity to come together to pray for London and the Nation at this crucial time. If you are unable to be in London for the breakfast (07.00 – 08.55), please would you join in prayer at this time, wherever you are?

Congratulations to Anna and Alex (Rosemarys daughter) they were married yesterday - November 12th. We pray that they will be very happy together.

27th November is our gift day – please pick up a letter about this from the foyer. If you can’t find one with your name on it, please take one with no label.
