If you would like someone to pray with you after the service, please either ask someone you know and trust or move to a seat on the front row where Mike or a nominated person will be available. Do not feel too embarrassed to do this. We believe in prayer. If you are new to this church you may be interested to know :- There is a loop system for those who are hard of hearing, Crèche is provided for babies/toddlers in the hall, and a Sunday Club group is available for pre-schoolers to age 11 in the hall from approx 11am. Please stay after the service to have a coffee/tea and biscuits, these are available in the hall. Sunday Services for the next month:- Sunday 4th March Morning Service with Mark Macauley from Oakridge Road BC 10:45am Sunday 11th March Morning Service with the Methodist Church 10:45am Sunday 11th March Evening Service including communion 6:00pm Sunday 18th March Morning Service led by Women's Fellowship 10:45am Sunday 25th March Morning service will include a Baptism 10:45am Annual General Meeting – While this is in March, we need to think about it now – firstly annual reports from each church organisation need to be submitted to Rosemary so that they can be collated into an annual report, and also the election of Deacons. There is one vacancy this year. LENT Groups – this year there are only two lent groups – one on Wednesday afternoon at Christchurch and one on Wednesday evening at the Baptist Church. If you know you are coming then please sign up – details are on the noticeboard. If you forget to sign up this doesn’t stop you from coming. The more the merrier……!!! Check out the Churches Together in Britain website for more details of what we are studying . www.ctbi.org.uk Methodist Church – missions evening at the Methodist Church – 7pm Saturday 25th February – “looking for a N.E.E.T. Spirituality” with Rev Dr Chris Shannahan. Supper will follow the talk. Last Week we welcomed Rev Bill Hewis from the Leprosy Mission – However many were unable to be here due to the snow, but if you would still like to contribute to this cause then please put any monies in one of the yellow envelopes or use the white Leprosy Mission envelopes and give them to Mary Lacey. Thank you The Annual Baptist Assembly: The Baptist Assembly will be returning to London from 4 – 6 May. Please pray for this important event in the life of our denomination as we celebrate together God’s goodness to the denomination over the last 400 years and seek his guidance as together we look Beyond 400. See the Assembly promotional leaflets and visit the Assembly website www.baptistassembly.org.uk for further information. Everyone is welcome to attend the Baptist Assembly. Booking for the whole event costs just £95 up until 29 February. Or if you cannot come for the whole event why not come to one of the Celebrations at Central Hall, Westminster, or to one of the 13 Day Conferences on Saturday 5 May?
