Mid Week Life Groups:

A Life Group is a small group of people who gather together to share life, laugh and cry together, study the Bible, and pray together. It's a place where you will make deep friends and grow as a person.

We currently run four Life Groups, two of which take place on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month at 8pm, one ("Discipleship Explored") on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at 8pm, and one on alternate Thursday mornings at 10.30am. See the calendar for more details.

If you would like to join a Life Group please either leave a message on 01494 712479, email the church on holmergreenbaptistchurch@gmail.com or talk to one of the Deacons after the Sunday morning service.

Prayer and Praise 7 - 8.15pm on the first Sunday evening of the month

Prayer and Praise is an informal 'cafe style' evening service which invites all to come and worship God and spend time in His presence. At each service we hear a short talk before entering into a time of open prayer and worship as we allow God’s Spirit to move amongst us. 7pm - 8.15pm on the first Sunday of each month (unless stated otherwise). This is part of ACTS (All Churches Together Serving).

Pop-In Lunch  12.30pm - 1st and 3rd Wednesday in the month

A light lunch of soup followed by baked potatoes or ploughman's (depending on the season) with tea or coffee is served on the first and third Wednesdays of the month (except August). As the name implies, anyone can pop in to any lunch without pre-booking but please be at the church by 12:30pm as lunch is served promptly.

There is a charge of £3.50 per person.
For more details please talk to: Gwyn & Bruce Waugh - 01494 862729.

Time 4 God  11.15am - 1st and 3rd Wednesdays in the month

On the first and third Wednesday of each month (except August) there is a 45 minute traditional service in the Church. This includes hymns, prayers, the Lord's prayer, a Bible reading and a short talk. On the third Wednesday of the month Communion is taken.  Each time the service is followed by coffee. Many who attend this then stay and enjoy a Pop-in lunch.

Women's Fellowship 2.15pm fortnightly on Thursdays

Members and friends meet in the hall on alternate Thursdays (except August) to share in Christian fellowship together. There is often an outside speaker or themed talk and always tea afterwards. Anyone is welcome.

For details of the present programme of events and speakers, please see follow this link or contact: Mary Lacey - 01494 712052.

Youth Club 7.00 - 8.30 pm, Fridays during school term time

Our youth club welcomes school years 6-8 for fun, games and a short "talk time" where we explore Christianity in a fun and informal way.

Simply Walk Mondays at 10.15 am for a 10.30 am start.

The Church is the starting point for this way of enjoying better health. Enjoy a Monday morning in the fresh air walking in our local countryside and meeting new friends.

Recommended by local GPs there are three grades of walk : First Footers (20mins); Village Walk (45mins); and Step It Out (approx 1 hour). Inspired by Bucks CC and supported by the Little Missenden Parish Council - Phone 01494 475367 for more information.

Often the woods at Beamond End are visited and, for example, in May 2015 the walkers enjoyed seeing the vast areas of bluebells there :
